Storm Ventures International has spud the Fuchsia-1 well in the Gulf of Hammamet, Tunisia. Drilled by the ENSCO 105 jackup, the well is expected to reach a total depth of 9,514 feet (2,900 meters) and evaluate the Birsa formation sandstones by logs. After an evaluation, the well will be plugged and abandoned.

Europa O&G provided an update of well testing operations on the Voitinel gas discovery, situated in northern Romania, specifically on the analysis of the results of the fracture stimulation ('frac') of the '1650' gas sand.

Max Petroleum has completed drilling the BOR-2 appraisal well in the Borkyldakty Field in Block E, reaching a total depth of 1,760 meters. The productive Triassic reservoirs found in the BOR-1 discovery well are present and well developed in BOR-2, but were encountered structurally lower than expected, at or below their respective oil-water contacts.

Occidental of Elk Hills Inc. has awarded CB&I, Houston, a $280 million contract for a natural gas processing plant at the Elk Hills oil and gas field in central California.

Enterprise Products Partners LP and Duncan Energy Partners LP plan to expand their jointly owned Shoup and Armstrong processing plants in South Texas. The plants process natural gas and fractionate NGLs.
