Origin Energy, on behalf of the L11 Joint Venture, advised that the Weatherford drilling rig 826 is currently drilling the Redback 2 exploration well. This well is being drilled from the same surface location as Redback 1, drilled in 2004.

Indigo-Energy updated its progress on natural gas production in the Illinois Basin. The Company began completion efforts on one vertical well and two horizontal wells back in December of 2009 and announced in March that these wells had begun flowing and flaring a significant volume of natural gas.

Statoil struck gas in an exploration well, 6407/2-6 S, north of the Mikkel field in the Norwegian North Sea.
